No need to invest in other software! Return to Top of Page You do NOT have to start from scratch! You can very easily import your existing listings into FastTracks V2. Simply arrange your spreadsheet so that it has four columns, Song Title, Artist, Disc-ID, and Track#, then save the spreadsheet as a CSV (comma-delimited) file. From within FastTracks V2 select "Import" and select the CSV file you saved the spreadsheet to. That's it! Return to Top of Page Yes, most SongBook Creator programs include some form of export feature. If it supports CSV export you simply export the SongBook to a CSV (comma-delimited) file and import that file directly into FastTracks V2. If it supports only an export to Excel, you'll need to export the file to Excel, and from within Excel save it as a CSV (comma-delimited) file. Next you can import the CSV file directly into FastTracks V2. Return to Top of Page FastTracks V2 allows you to maintain your SongBooks without having to worry about maintaining separate "Update" books. All listing are added to your main SongBook. Then when you wish to print an "Update" book, you simply instruct FastTracks V2 to print ONLY listings that were added after a designated date. Return to Top of Page The DUP-Finder feature is a very powerful Money-Saver feature. It's designed to help you select the most cost effective CDG(s) to purchase when adding songs to your library. Built into the advanced search tool, it automatically compares prospective CDG's to your SongBook and displays the potential duplicates on each disc. It's even color coded for faster identification. Return to Top of Page FastTracks V2 treats a CAVS player as any other disc, with the exception that when the SongBook is printed, the Song# is printed as the actual Track#. As an example, a track found on a CDG in your library might have a Song# of 101-01, where a track in your CAVS player might be displayed as 11928. Return to Top of Page Yes, CAVS (MP3+G) listings can easily co-exist in the same SongBook! Return to Top of Page One of the most dreaded chores is adding One-of-a-Kind discs. These discs obviously do not exist in the built-in SongBase and therefore must be entered manually. FastTracks V2 however even makes this chore a pleasure with it's "IntellaSense" technology. You can either type in the Song Title of each track, or simply pick it from a drop-down list (yes, over 99.9% of all titles are there). After you've entered the Title, FastTracks V2 automatically provides the Artist! And when there are more than one Artist for a Song Title, you're presented with a list of ALL Artists that have performed the Title. Simply select the correct one! Return to Top of Page Absolutely! FastTracks V2 PLUS allows you to categorize listings by Genre and designate Duets. We obtain our listings through manufacturers and users, and unless we have actual physical access to each and every disc it is impossible to verify 100% accuracy. We are however constantly making corrections and additions to the main SongBase to reduce the possibility of inaccuracies. FastTracks V2 does however make it quick and easy to verify and make corrections to the main SongBase while tagging your disks. No need to click another button and wait!
