Disable (Override) Automatic Auxiliary Screen Positioning

IMPORTANT!

CompuHost RELIES on Accurate Screen Coordinates for the Secondary "Lyrics" Screen location to be provided by the computers Video Card.

By Default: When CompuHost is opened CompuHost automatically requests the Secondary Screen Coordinates and will send the Secondary "Lyrics" Screen to the provided location.

Therefore, if having "issues" with the Automatic Screen Positioning functionality, FIRST be sure that Automatic Screen Positioning has NOT BEEN ACCIDENTALLY DISABLED

1. To do this (from CompuHost's main menu) go to File->System Devices and Options

2.  Under Display Screen Options be sure the "box" labeled Disable Override Auxiliary Screen Positioning is NOT CHECKED

3. If the box is "CHECKED" then simply "UNCHECK" the box by "clicking on the box”

4. Select the Save and Exit button and "SHUTDOWN" CompuHost.

5. Reconfigure your computer and devices and make sure that your computer is properly configured for a Windows Extended Desktop

6. Open CompuHost

NOTE: The Secondary "Lyrics" Screen should Display as intended on the Secondary Monitor/TV.

----------

In the RARE circumstances that this does NOT resolve the issue and you continue to recieve improper screen coordinates, we have instituted an option to Disable the Automatic Screen Positioning feature that allows the End User to manually size and move the Secondary Screen to the proper location (overriding the Video Cards instructions).

1. Configure your computer back to a single primary display, open CompuHost and (from the main menu) go to File-System Devices and Options and "under Display Screen Options"CHECK the box" next to Disable (Override) Auxiliary Screen Positioning

2. Select the Save and Exit button and "SHUTDOWN" CompuHost

3. Reconfigure your computer and devices and be sure your computer is set to a properly configured Windows Extended Desktop

4. Now, upon opening CompuHost, you will be able to "drag and drop" the Secondary Screen over to the secondary monitor/tv and MANUALLY size the Secondary "Lyrics" Screen to properly fit the screen size and location of your Secondary Monitor/TV
