Using the AutoUpdate Wizard

FastTracks V2 utilizes it's built-in Main SongBase for many advanced features. The Main SongBase contains available song listings from most of the CDG (Karaoke disc) manufacturers. It's important that the Main SongBase be kept up to date with what the manufacturers are offering.

To make this as easy as possible, FastTracks V2 utilizes Invicions proprietary AutoUpdate Service.

AutoUpdate allows for one-click updating of the Main SongBase data files via the Internet.

To utilize the AutoUpdate Wizard you must have the following....

A current subscription to the AutoUpdate Service.

A functioning Internet connection.

Before launching the AutoUpdate Wizard please close the open SongBook.

To launch the AutoUpdate Wizard click FILE from the top menu.

Click AutoUpdate Wizard from the drop down menu.

The following screen will appear.

To check the status of your AutoUpdate Subscription click "Subscription Status".

This will display the following screen.

This screen displays the Serial Number, Expiration Date, and the Date of the Last Update.

Click "Back" when ready to proceed.

You will return to the Main AutoUpdate screen

Click "Next" to initiate the AutoUpdate.

The AutoUpdate Wizard will query the AutoUpdate Service for information regarding the needed updates.
If your current data files are up to date, you'll be advised by the following screen.

Unless you are updating due to possible file corruption, you should click "No".

If your subscription is current and your present data files are out dated, the Wizard will start the automatic process of obtaining and installing the necessary update files.
No user intervention is required.

If all goes well you'll be presented with a success confirmation screen.

Click "Ok"

That's it, Your data files are now up to date!
